Dairy Cottage
The old milking sheds of Hamptons Farmhouse, now a bright modern cottage with a hayloft for two, on nine acres of Kent countryside 32 miles from London.
This converted cottage was once the milking sheds for Hamptons Farmhouse when it had its own cows. There is still the Gascoigne Dairy sign above one of the doors. Now it is a beautiful, modern cottage with an underfloor-heated bath and shower room. The hayloft has two single beds overlooking the main bedroom. The living and dining area has all you need for a comfortable stay in a rural idyll.

Description
Dairy Cottage at Hamptons Farmhouse is a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Nestled in beautiful countryside between the villages of Plaxtol and West Peckham in Kent, the Garden of England, it is amazingly quiet and peaceful. Set in nine acres, all that can be seen is rolling countryside, yet we are just 32 miles from the centre of London. It is an easy journey, only 35 minutes from Sevenoaks to Charing Cross by train.
On our nine-acre site there is so much to do. Past the cottages unfold the gardens with a duck pond on which you can paddle around in the row boat. Play open-air table tennis under the shelter of the barn, take afternoon tea on the lawns, or if you feel more energetic play croquet or tennis on the all-weather court.
The site is very child friendly. It is safe and secure, including the water areas, but filled with adventure. The Fort is a camouflaged climbing frame with swings, monkey bars, a climbing wall and a 40 metre zip wire. By the giant redwood, on which swings and a trapeze hang, is the massive 17 by 14 foot Jump King trampoline. The genuine gypsy caravan is a cosy place to chill out for children and adults alike. The woodland tree house with its super-slide, secret dens, the seven dwarfs' woodland playhouse, climbing trees and farmyard animals add to the blissful experience.
We have free superfast WiFi. We may be rural but we do have fibre optic broadband. Should you visit over Christmas or the cooler months the heating is plentiful and the well insulated cottage keeps you cosy and warm.

“Everything it says on the tin, and so much more”
We as a family needed a break into the lovely Kent countryside over the summer and Andy and Katie's guest retreat proved to be the perfect holiday destination, made that bit more special because of their warm hospitality.
With two young and very active boys, we needed to ensure that they were catered for first. The breathtakingly beautiful surroundings were also a hive of fun for the boys with a fantastic zip wire, loads of trampolines, a pond with a boat and other summer games. We stayed for a week and found the family preferred to stay on the grounds and have fun rather than travel in the car.
My wife and I had ample opportunity to enjoy the finer delights on offer, often spending hours in the sunny gazebo, drinking a cold drink while keeping one eye on the family and reading a good novel.
In a sentence: Dairy Cottage is sunny inside, set in a warmly welcoming farm courtyard with a hayloft treasure for two young boys. We will be back next year.
