Large doors connect you with the outside living space where many a meal is enjoyed in the cool of the morning or warmth of the evening sun. The bedrooms, with the chestnut wood floors and wrought iron beds are so quiet and peaceful it is hard not to have a wonderful night of sleep.
Approx 210 sqm over the two gites.
Both gites have log burning stoves should you be staying in the cooler months – along with a plentiful supply of wood to keep you warm and cosy.
2 bathrooms, both with separate bath and walk-in shower.
Each gite has one of these bathrooms situated upstairs and shared by the bedrooms.
The Dordogne is a beautiful part of France with hills and valleys; trees and farms; birdsong and river flows.
- Local attractions include almost daily markets in one village or another. The market town of Domme (Thursday morning) is a very popular spot with its street market, caves, tour train, restaurants, and a most fabulous view of the Dordogne river and valley.
There is far too much to list here but we will send you a link to our Information Pack on DropBox so that you can prepare for your holiday before you travel.

Sol du Mazel, St Pompon, Dordogne. France 24170
Sol du Mazel is nestled into an idyllic rural setting, with the two gîtes looking over the meadow up towards a small woodland from which deer and wild boar can sometimes be seen at dawn. Sol du Mazel is just a short walk from the beautiful village of St Pompon, is nestled into the lovely mix of undulating land covered in woods and meadows, where poppies add a splash of colour to every roadside. The textured sandstone houses of the villages in the area are so picturesque they could easily be described as the ‘Cotswolds’ of France.

Our Covid Safeguarding includes careful cleaning of high-touch areas with anti-bacterial cleansers among other things. We have a full Covid Safeguarding Policy which is available as part of the information pack we will provide.
