We are pretty sure that our prices are great value for the quality and facilities of each of the properties. When we started, we wanted to build up a reputation and a client base of people who either want to return and/or want to recommend us to their friends and family. To do this providing great value for money is part of the deal. Having started advertising in June 2013, we found we were fully booked in France within a few weeks. Experience has shown that those who want to secure a week in the Summer holidays need to book in December or even earlier of the year before the booking. We have already started taking bookings for the summer season a year in the future. After a very enjoyable Christmas and New Year in the UK cottages these will book up shortly.
Depending on which property there will be different proportions to be paid in advance. In essence we charge either 35% or 50% to secure a booking and the balance over the 2-3 months before the booking. There is also a security deposit to be paid which is repaid shortly after the end of the stay. We can explain the exact details of how and when to pay but these will also be shown on the booking form and explained in the Terms and Conditions which are sent out to each booking guest. Don’t worry, its not complicated, we just try to spread the payment load to you rather than asking for it all in advance.
Please note booking reservations made verbally or by email are only confirmed when the booking deposit has been received and the booking forms completed and returned to us. Reservations will be held for a maximum of one week but will be released to others if the booking deposit and forms are not received within that time.
All local and other taxes including ‘taxe de sejour’ are included in the price as is the cleaning and linen change.
