The logo used for Child Friendly Holidays is a detail taken from a painting we commissioned while we were ourselves on holiday.
Our two girls, then just 4 and 7, were loving playing outdoors in the clean warm air. Their hair had been bleached particularly blond in the glorious sun and everyone was relaxed and cheerful. There was a simplicity and innocence in their play. Laughter was easy and lightly held in the air. Both were exploring, climbing a tree. It was fun.
There was a richness and fullness in the colours of the late afternoon sun, rewarding us though we did not deserve it.
We were blessed.
